KISII, Kenya, Jul 8 – Kisii based Shabana FC have been crowned the 2023 Football Kenya Federation National Super League champions ahead of their return to Premier League next season.
Shabana beat Kisumu All Stars 2-0 at a packed Gusii Stadium to lift the title ahead of their main competitors Murang’a Seal who drew 2-2 with Gusii United.
Nehemiah Onchiri netted a brace to guarantee Shabana a title, ending the season on a high.
The team was later treated to a luncheon by the Gusii top leadership.
