NAIROBI, Kenya, January 31, 2026 – Tickets for next month’s HSBC Division 2 Tournament at Nyayo Stadium are sold out.
In a statement, the organisers say no tickets will be sold at the gate on February 14-15.
“Ladies and gentlemen, we would like to officially state that we are totally sold out for the Inaugural leg of the 2026 HSBC SVNS2. Aaahh, Big up to everyone who bought a ticket, words cannot express how grateful we are,” the Kenya Rugby Union (KRU) said.
On Saturday morning, KRU had revealed that tickets for Day One of the competition had been sold out, with chair Harriet Okach adding that it was only a matter of time before those for Day Two (Sunday) would also be sold out.
“I highly doubt there will be ticket sales at the gate. Even the Day Two tickets that are still available are quite few and they are also selling fast,” the chair said.
Fans were to fork out Ksh 500 to purchase regular tickets through ticketing merchants Tiko Hub via their website.
At the gate, they would have parted with Ksh 750; on the other hand, the ‘Mbogi’ tickets (for a group of seven persons) were going for Ksh 2,100.
Those for a group of 12 persons were worth Ksh 3,600.
Already, the VIP tickets had been sold out earlier in the week.

Okach further said that organisers have put in place proper measures to ensure that fans do not fall victim to fake tickets.
“We have absolute confidence that Tiko Hub will ensure that there will be no cases of fake tickets being sold to unsuspecting fans. In rugby, we haven’t had to deal with this issue (fake tickets) and have always made it impossible for people to try and enter the venue with them,” she said.
The tournament features 12 teams — six each in the men and women’s division – including hosts Shujaa and Kenya Lionesses.
The 35,000-seater Nyayo is expected to be packed to the brim as fans cheer on the home teams to glory.
It will be the latest high-profile competition to be held at the stadium, which has previously hosted the annual Safari 7s, the Barthes Cup as well as the 2023 World Rugby Under 20 Trophy.
