ROME, January 13- McDonald Mariga scored for Inter Milan Wednesday as they beat Genoa 3-2 and send the Serie A champions to the quarter finals of the Coppa Italia.
Samuel Eto’o notched two strikes in the first half at the San Siro ensuring a 100 percent start for new ‘Nerazzurri’ boss Leonardo.
Houssine Kharja pulled a goal back from the penalty spot after the brace from Eto’o but Mariga restored the hosts’ two-goal advantage before Giuseppe Sculli’s injury time consolation.
