Assifuah to the rescue as Gor held to draw by Police

NAIROBI, Kenya, May, 10, 2026 – Ebenezer Assifua scored a last gasp strike as Gor Mahia snatched a 1-1 draw against defending champions Kenya Police in a FKF Premier League tie at Nyayo Stadium on Sunday

The league leaders fell behind to Brian Chonjo’s strike in the 22nd minute.

However, Assifuah turned up the hero in the 86th minute to ensure a share of the spoils and maintain distance between them and closest challengers, AFC Leopards.
