(WATCH) Government to arm Chiefs in high-risk areas – CS Murkomen

The Kenyan government will begin arming Chiefs in high-risk areas, Interior Cabinet Secretary Kipchumba Murkomen has revealed.

Speaking during an Eastern and Rift Valley regions security meeting in Isiolo, Murkomen said that Chiefs whose lives were at risk in their areas of operation would be issued with firearms and registered as National Police Reservists (NPR).
