KeNHA warns of rising floodwaters at Tana River bridge

NAIROBI, Kenya Apr 26 – The Kenya National Highways Authority (KeNHA) has warned motorists of rising floodwaters at Tana River Bridge in Mororo.

The warning came even as the Authority announced that the Seven Folks Dams was near full capacity amid persistent rains with the risk of flooding due to an over flow.

It however assured that all measures have been put in place to ensure those affected are taken care of.

“The Authority contractors are on-site, prepared to address any washouts once the floodwaters recede,” KeNHA noted.
