, NAIROBI, Kenya, Jan 7 — Businessman Dr. Chris Kirubi has differed with the Chairman of Media Owners Association S.K. Macharia on the submissions he made during the Senate standing committee hearings on the election amendment laws.

Dr. Kirubi who is the Chairman of Capital Group says the sentiments of Macharia are not representative of all media owners, adding that he was not consulted as a media owner.

S.K. Macharia told the Senate committee that the media tracked the reporting of results in the 2007 poll through satellite phones.
