Old boy Zico engineers KCB’s demolition of Gor Mahia’s unbeaten streak

NAIROBI, Kenya, Jan 4 – Zedekiah Otieno engineered a massive victory against his former employers as KCB beat Gor Mahia 1-0 at the Nyayo National Stadium to break the record FKF Premier League Champions’ unbeaten start to the season.

Prior to the tie, Gor had won three and drawn one, but KCB brought that run to a halt, Kennedy Owino scoring the lone goal in the 61st minute.

The bankers bounced back from their last defeat against champions Tusker FC to move to fourth in the standings with 12 points, six behind the brewers who top the standings.
