NAIROBI, Kenya, Mar 18 – Nairobi gubernatorial aspirant Richard Ngatia says he is ready to sort out the mess in Nairobi, if elected the fourth Governor.
Speaking when he presented his nomination papers at the Jubilee Party headquarters on Friday, Ngatia said he is the best suited candidate to lead the city in reclaiming it’s glory.
The businessman- cum politician is banking on his long experience in business and as the President of the Kenya National Chamber of Commerce and Industry, to steer the city into becoming a business and economic hub in the region.
“t is important to have leadership that understands business and I believe I am the best person for the job,” he said.
Jubilee Secretary General Jeremiah Kioni who received him said it is the party’s joy to receive quality aspirants.
Kioni said the party will not gamble with the leadership of Nairobi this time round, referring to former Governor Sonko’s government which was marred with alot of controversy.
“I am impressed with Ngatia and his papers are also impressive. As a party we are happy to have him as a candidate,” states Kioni.
Other Jubilee candidates are Governor Ann Kananu and businesswoman Ann Kagure.
