NAIROBI, Kenya, Dec 25 – Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has called out for peace and unity among Kenyans, and has assured that the government will tighten security across the country during Christmas
The deputy, who was gifting and interacting with his neighbors in Nyeri, said that this will enable Kenyans to celebrate the festive season in harmony.
“We want to ask for peace and love we want to ask all Kenyans to love each other and this Christmas period is a period of joy for people to love each other,” the deputy president said.
He stressed that Christmas is a moment to be celebrated with love and togetherness and has wished blessings to Kenyans as they celebrate the joyful event.
“Christmas is a moment of celebrating together and sharing for the glory of God. Merry Christmas Kenya; God bless Kenya,” the deputy president stated on X.

Delivering a heartwarming Christmas message to the nation, the second lady pastor Dorcas Rigathi has urged Kenyans to take this chance and join their families to commemorate the birth of Jesus Christ.
“I pray that this Christmas, you will not only be celebrating with yourself, but whatever you have you share. I pray that you will remember your parents, go and see them, call them, send them a gift if you are very far and you are working and you may not be able to celebrate Christmas,” she said.
