NAIROBI, Kenya Mar 1 – Journalist Francis Gachuri of Citizen TV has been appointed head of Communications at the Ministry of Interior.
Gachuri confirmed the appointment saying he is now the Secretary, Strategic Communications at the ministry.
He had worked at Royal Media Services for 16 years.
“I have called this place home, when I came here, I was a young man, who did not even have a family then. All my major milestones have happened while I was here. Now I have two families, my wife and kids and as well as the RMS family that includes my colleagues, our viewers, listeners and readers,” he said in his farewell to colleagues at RMS where he worked as the Political Editor, Citizen TV and also the host of iNooro TV’s number-one political talk show Kiririmbi.
