NAIROBI, Kenya Jan 19 – CAPITAL FM has signed a partnership with AVIC International Real Estate (Kenya) Limited to kickstart my great Nairobi photo exhibition project at the GTC Office Tower in Nairobi.

The one of its kind project known as ‘My Great Nairobi Photo Exhibition’ will feature treasured collections capturing the city’s transition over the years.

The partnership was signed on Wednesday by Capital Group Limited Director Mary-Ann Musangi-Kirubi and AVIC International Real Estate (Kenya) Limited General Manager Gong Yuxian.

“This partnership marks the beginning of a long-term partnership between Capital FM and Avic International which has invested heavily in the Kenyan market with this magnificent property,” Mary-Ann said during the signing ceremony held at GTC Tower that is currently leasing out commercial spaces at the office tower and retail mall and selling residential units and serviced apartments that are managed by Pan Pacific.

“We are delighted to partner with Avic International for Capital FM to set up this photo exhibition which will tell the untold story of Nairobi and its rich history,” she said, hailing the property developer for choosing Kenya as its choice for the multi-billion investment.

As the flagship project of Kenya’s Vision 2030 programme, GTC has set new records of service and scope for all city complexes in East Africa to serve as a great landmark.

On his part, AVIC International Real Estate (Kenya) Limited General Manager Gong Yuxian said that the firm is committed on showing Kenya’s past rich history through pictures.

“We really want to have this exhibition project and that is why we want to have a chance to ask the Kenyan people to join us together and to look through the city transformation in the past 100 years,” Mr. Gong Yuxian said.

“We can share all of the memories together. We can remember everything together through this photo exhibition,” he added.

The complex boasts of the global hotel chain, JW Marriott, East Africa’s newest Luxury 5 Star Hotel with 317 guestrooms and serviced apartments managed by Pan Pacific.

Officials at GTC said they are impressed with the uptake rate of the apartments, retail mall and office block which have attracted high-end corporate brands, fortune 500 companies as well as individual investors in the country and the diaspora.

GTC Office Tower and Retail Boutique mall are currently in the leasing phase while the apartments are currently selling.

Mr. Gong Yuxian hailed the Capital FM team for showing commitment on the project.

“So, today we are very happy…because all of you came here and it shows Capital FM’s attitude and we are very glad about that,” he said, “At the same time, we hope through this event we could show our people about GTC and GTC products.”
