Third year male student at University of Eldoret killed in suspected love triangle

NAIROBI, Kenya, Oct 28 – A third year male student at the University of Eldoret has been killed in a suspected love triangle.

According to a police report, he was assaulted while in the company of fellow female student.

The report stated that he succumbed to the injuries while receiving treatment at the Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital.

Witnesses say the student and his assailants got into a disagreement over a female student before a fight broke out.

“The student was attacked in the company of the female student and she expected to help in the investigations in the quest to trace the said assailant and establish the real motive behind the fight.”

Police have launched investigations to identify the culprit who is at large.
