NAIROBI, Kenya, May 18-The National Police Service on Wednesday hosted a team from the Nigeria Armed Forces Command and Staff College at the National Police Leadership Academy in Ngong.
The delegation comprising students and Directing Staff led by Brigadier General FU Mijinyawa was received at the Academy by the Commandant, Musyoki Mutungi.
The NPS said that the Nigerian delegation is on an African study tour, to learn more about Border Control and National Security.
Representing the Inspector General of Police at the event was the Director Human Capital Development and Administration Rosemary Kuraru.
Both Kenya and Nigeria are members of the Bureau of the African Union Mechanism for Police Cooperation (AFRIPOL-AU).
Kenya’s Inspector General of Police Japhet Koome, is the current President of the African Union AFRIPOL-AU.
