Raila lifts boycott on Star Newspaper, registers complaint with MCK

NAIROBI, Kenya, Mar 23 – Azimio La Umoja One Kenya Leader Raila Odinga has lifted the boycott on the Star Newspaper and by extension the Radio Africa Group.

Odinga has instead filed his complaints against the media house with the Media Council of Kenya (MCK).

“We have agreed to call off our boycott of The Star newspaper. Instead, we have filed a complaint with the Media Council of Kenya with the paper’s biases,” said Odinga.

On Tuesday Odinga asked Azimio supporters to boycott Safaricom, Kenya Commercial Bank and Radio Africa, especially the Star newspaper.

He said that the local daily was being used by President William Ruto regime to undermine him.
