NAIROBI, Kenya, Oct 29 – The Kenya National Examination Council (KNEC) dispatched a helicopter on Tuesday to deliver examination materials to inaccessible areas in West Pokot and Turkana counties as the education ministry moved to avert the delay of Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) exams in the region.
Education Principal Secretary Belio Kipsang confirmed the disbursement following reports of delayed delivering of examination materials in parts of Turkana, Baringo and West Pokot owing to the impassible state of roads in the affected areas which have encountered heavy rainfall in recent days.
