The 59 year-old Krieger from Michigan was nabbed on October 31, 2014 after police found that he had circulated an obscene publication depicting images of children, which is contrary to section16 (1) (a) of Sexual Offences Act of 2006/file
Senior Principal Magistrate Joseph Karanja said that after looking at videos that were found in Terry Ray Krieger’s possession, he was convinced he had committed the offence.
The 59 year-old Krieger from Michigan was nabbed on October 31, 2014 after police found that he had circulated an obscene publication depicting images of children, which is contrary to section16 (1) (a) of Sexual Offences Act of 2006.
Krieger had been accused of capturing obscene images of children that he circulated through the Internet.
The court agreed with the evidence tendered by the prosecution arising from the investigations.
The American had earlier denied the charge saying the obscene publications he circulated were images of a child he found on the Internet.
Kenyan police had been looking for Krieger, alias Babytoddler123, before he was arrested at Olepolos in Ngong.
He was arrested after Interpol investigators in Germany and in the United States informed the local office of the presence of a child abuser in Kenya who was exchanging pictures with other “users” abroad.
