NAIROBI, Kenya Sept 9 – Former Kibwezi MP Kalembe Ndile has been admitted to hospital with leg and hand injuries after a vehicle he was driving was involved in a head-on collision accident on Nairobi-Mombasa road on Saturday morning.
Athi River Traffic Police confirmed the 3 a.m. incident which occurred at the Devki area along Mombasa Road.
Preliminary investigations by the police suggest the accident occurred as Ndile who was heading towards Mombasa failed to keep to his lane and collided with an oncoming vehicle which was heading in the opposite direction.
The former MP sustained a fracture on the right leg and left hand.
Ndile was rushed to Shalom Community hospital and admitted in fair condition.
