Bio Foods Products Ltd and King Kaka unveil new cooking show “Let Him Cook”

Let Him Cook is a bold and creative collaboration that aims to spotlight the evolving role of men in the kitchen while celebrating Kenyan cuisine and authentic storytelling. The show will feature a vibrant mix of celebrity guests from Kenya’s entertainment, business, and creative industries — all united by a shared love for food.

Nairobi, Kenya May 19 – Bio Foods Products Ltd, in partnership with Kaka Empire, has officially launched the highly anticipated cooking show “Let Him Cook”, hosted by renowned artist and entrepreneur King Kaka. The launch event, held at Bio Foods’ premises, brought together media personalities and partners, including Highlands Drinks Ltd and Ma Cuisine Ltd, offering a first taste of what the new show promises.

Let Him Cook is a bold and creative collaboration that aims to spotlight the evolving role of men in the kitchen while celebrating Kenyan cuisine and authentic storytelling. The show will feature a vibrant mix of celebrity guests from Kenya’s entertainment, business, and creative industries — all united by a shared love for food.

“This is not just a cooking show,” said King Kaka. “It’s a space where culture, conversation, and creativity meet in the kitchen. We’re telling our stories through food, and I’m excited to do that alongside brands that value quality, health, and authenticity.”

Speaking at the event, Joachim Westerveld, Group CEO of Bio Foods, Highlands Drinks, and Ma Cuisine, reaffirmed the companies’ commitment to food safety, quality, and integrity. “Now more than ever, it matters who makes your food and how it’s made. We are proud to bring together brands that uphold the highest standards of safety and quality, ensuring every ingredient on Let Him Cook is trustworthy, healthy, and truly Kenyan,” he said. “We’re honoured to partner with King Kaka on a show that celebrates real food and real stories.”

To mark the rollout of the show, an exclusive watch party will be held on Monday, 19th May 2025, where invited guests will view the first episode ahead of its public release. Thereafter, new episodes of Let Him Cook will air every Monday at 8:00 PM on King Kaka’s official YouTube channel: youtube.com/@theonlykingkaka.
