NAIROBI, Kenya, Nov 3 – Police in Rongo have arrested the prime suspect in the murder of a Rongo University student.
Detectives arrested Titus Limangura on Thursday in connection with the murder of Abel Chumba, his fellow third-year student at Rongo University.
According to detectives, the suspect stabbed the victim in the stomach on Thursday following an argument.
Preliminary investigations suggest that the now-deceased student succumbed to his injuries at Tabaka Mission Hospital.
Police are yet to establish the motive behind the attack.
The case has been taken over by Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) detectives in Rongo to piece together the circumstances that led to the fatal incident.
