NAIROBI, Kenya, Jan 24 – At least five have been wounded at the Jamhuri High School this morning in a riot over the school’s management.
Things have however calmed down following the intervention of the police, parents and education officials.
The students who started the riot have accused the school’s principal of playing favourites in his managment of the school’s affairs.
School property was also destroyed in the clash with teachers also reported to have sustained injuries.
