‘Sign Wanyama!’ Gooners tell Arsene

WANYAMA-SANCHEZLONDON, January 1- Arsenal fans have called on manager Arsene Wenger to sign Harambee Stars captain, Victor Wanyama, after the Kenyan put a man of the match performance for Southampton in their 2-0 win over the Gunners at Saint Mary’s stadium.

Wanyama was in imperious form in defensive midfield, breaking up most of Arsenal’s attacks by pocketing Santi Cazorla, Tomas Rosicky, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlin, Calum Chambers and later, substitute Theo Walcott.

According to footballfancast.com, Wanyama’s display caught the eye of Arsenal supporters worldwide.

“Naturally, the Gooners have called for Arsene Wenger to make the former Celtic man one of their first signings this January transfer window.

“Southampton’s whole XI would’ve been worthy winners of the Man of the Match award, however, it was Victor Wanyama who really stood out today, marshalling the middle of the park with ease and highlighting all the qualities that Arsenal lack,” the website reported.

It published some tweets from Arsenal fans who saw their side slip to sixth, three points adrift of the Saints in the table following the defeat and archrivals Tottenham Hotspurs magnificent 5-3 win over log leaders Chelsea later Thursday.

Southampton profited from Arsenal’s shaky defending for both goals with Sadio Mane profiting from a Wojciech Szczesny error and then the Pole involved again – with some assistance from Mathieu Debuchy – for Dusan Tadic’s goal which killed off the tie early in the second-half.

Here’s the tweets published on footballfancast.com

They can’t tress them and it’s clear that they are in bardhere. I don’t understand Kenya!. They are like we can’t tress them, and it’s clear that they are in bardhere. Why can’t they follow them to bardhere?. Are they afraid?. Embarassement for kenyan military. There fake stories start coming into light after chirchir dowloaded fake photos to be a kenyan killed by al shabaab in kismayo. Poor strategy, and they are afraid to be commanded by Uganda in Amison because Uganda will discover their weak military strength.

It is tough very tough indeed. Insecurity in Kenya is alarming. It has become hard to trust anyone not even our own shadows! Do you trust yours?

this is the difference between a well trained and experienced fighters and army who have never been in a combat but spent their time drinking beer and engaging in sexual activities. Kenya signed its death certificate by going to war with Al-shabab..Even America and their allies cant defeat Al-shabab cos they couldnt defeat the Taliban who are similar to Al-shabab in every possible way. Al-shabab will penetrate deep into kenya and carry out attacks and kenya will be destroyed. Al-shabab has already appointed a president for the future Islamic state of kenya. it just shows that soon kenya will be fighting its own people not Somali people which will ofcourse force kenya to run away from somalia to fight their own youth which will allow Al-shabab to redeploy into Mogadisho to get back the ground they had abandoned which will be alot of pressure for the Ugandans and the Burundians and Ethiopia. So whos fault is this?…Kenya  has itself to blame by invading a free country. Actually its the best time for Somaliz to liberate their land from Kenya and establish a free country in the NFD area. Could it even be an Islamic state of NFD?..Somaliz are the best fighters out there..if theirs one thing we are gifted at..is knowing how to defend ourselves NO MATTER HOW LONG IT TAKES and GOD WILLING we will be a united strong nation again wether its under Al-shabab or not..
