Former Governor Kibwana, lawyer Kanjama among those in EACC Chair post race

NAIROBI, Kenya, Feb 21- Former Makueni Governor Kivutha Kibwana, CITAM Church Bishop Emeritus David Onginde and City Lawyer Charles Kanjama are among candidates shortlisted for the position of Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) Chairperson.

According to the Public Service Commission the position attracted a total of 89 applications.

The positions were advertised for on January 20th this year and closed on 2nd of February, and 14 were shortlisted.

Also on the list are Eliud Wanjao, Thomas Letangule, Kenneth Sakwa, Kaberia Kubai, Benjamin Adam and Amani Komora.

Others are Abdihafid Abdullahi, Susan Nekesa, Josiah Onyancha, Norah Chepkemoi and Justa Wawira Mwangi.

The shortlisted candidates will be interviewed on 27 and 28th February 2023.

The EACC Chairman seat fell vacant after the 6 year term of Eliud Wabukhala came to an end on January 17 this year.
