No Night Clubs in City Estates, Governor Sakaja maintains

NAIROBI, Kenya, Mar 11 – Nairobi Governor Johnson Sakaja has reiterated his commitment to ensure the reduction of noise pollution in Nairobi Estates.

He stated that loud music from night clubs in estates was having a negative impact on school going children.

“We will no longer tolerate night clubs in our estates. There is no way our children will be doing school homework while nightclubs are playing loud music in the neighborhoods,” he stated.

Sakaja also revealed that the ongoing crackdown and clampdown of wines & spirits joints and small bars around bus termini was informed by a report by the National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA) that drunk driving is a major contributor to road accidents and fatalities..

The Governor was speaking in Lang’ata Sub-County where he joined worshippers in a Sunday Service at ACK St. Paul South C Parish.

Governor Sakaja thereafter joined worshipers at the AIPCA, Kayole.

Earlier, the Governor joined Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua at PCEA Gateway Church Service in Roysambu Constituency.
