HELB, Universities Fund application deadline for first year students extended to Sep 14

NAIROBI, Kenya, Aug 29 – The government has extended the application deadlines for the Higher Education Loans Board (HELB) and the Universities Fund for first year students.

According to Education Cabinet Secretary Julius Ogamba, this is to ensure no student is left behind.

He further stated that Sh23 billion has already been disbursed to 802,159 students.

He urged students to check their Higher Education Funding portals to confirm the disbursement status.
