NAIROBI, Kenya, Sept 11 – The Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) has made changes to its senior leadership with the appointment of Doreen Mbingi and Nancy Ngetich as Commissioners.
Ngetich has been confirmed as Commissioner of Shared Services, a role she has been holding in an acting capacity since 2023. An advocate of the High Court of Kenya, she previously served as Deputy Commissioner for Policy and International Affairs in the Customs and Border Control Department.
Mbingi has been named Acting Commissioner for the Large and Medium Taxpayers Department, pending substantive appointment. She was previously Deputy Commissioner, Compliance for East and South Nairobi.
She takes over from Rispah Simiyu, whose five-year term has ended. Simiyu has been seconded to the National Treasury and Economic Planning.
