NAIROBI, Kenya, Jan 22 – Showmax has introduced new payment methods to afford customers more options.
Under this, users can pay monthly charges using Visa and Mastercard, credit and debit cards, DStv add-to-bill, vouchers, and M-Pesa via USSD.
“We’re pleased to be partnering with many companies in Kenya to make our payment methods seamless and are fortunate to have a strong relationship with Safaricom,” says Showmax Operating Officer Joe Heshu.
“We have worked with them to integrate M-pesa Via USSD and will also continue that process until M-pesa is broadly available,” he stated.
From tomorrow, the firm will start streaming Africa’s first stand-alone Showmax Premier League, among others, at Sh500 per month.
Showmax Entertainment, which used to cost Sh760 per month, will now be streamed at Sh650 per month, while Showmax Entertainment mobile and bundle offers will go for Sh300.
