Showmax targets football fans with live streams on mobile devices

NAIROBI, Kenya, Aug 13 – On-demand video streaming platform Showmax will start to air live football matches on mobile devices in the 2024/2025 season.

It will feature all 380 matches of the English Premier League, as well as top games from La Liga, Serie A, the Zambian Super League, and the Ethiopian Premier League.

Subscription charges per month will be Sh500 and will not be applicable on smart TVs, tablets, laptops, or computers.

“With an unmatched selection of leagues and tournaments, Showmax Mobile remains the ultimate destination for football fans across Kenya,” Showmax managing director Nzola Miranda said.
