Epson unveils new scanning solutions

NAIROBI, Kenya, Oct 20 – Epson has unveiled the latest scanning solutions to meet growing demand in the sectors of logistics, healthcare, financial services, and the public sector.

An uptick in scanning device demand, the firm said, is a result of industries increasingly relying on scanning documents for verification, security, compliance, and other business needs.

Epson’s Regional Head for East and West Africa, Mukesh Bector, said digitalization is intensifying the requirement for efficient handling and storage of data sourced from physical documents.

“The latest scanner series from Epson resolves several concerns by offering a more compact footprint and decreased energy consumption, all the while ensuring rapid performance, superior output quality, and enhanced scanning versatility,” he said.

He added that the new scanning innovations feature two-pass features and document capture pro software included.

Besides, Epson argues that the new gadgets are eco-friendly and are built with up to 30 percent recycled plastic.
