Angela Ndambuki, who is an advocate of the high court was previously the CEO of the Performers Rights Society of Kenya (PRISK).

NAIROBI, Kenya, May 22 – The Board of the Kenya National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) has appointed George Kiondo as Acting Chief Executive, eight months after it named Angela Ndambuki to head the Chamber.

Confirming the changes, KNCCI Chairman Kiprono Kittony has told CapitalFM that Ndambuki was on probation for eight months, and the Board, ” has decided not to confirm her.”

Kiondo was the Acting CEO before Ndambuki was appointed in September 2017.

Ndambuki, who is an advocate of the high court was previously the CEO of the Performers Rights Society of Kenya (PRISK).

The former songstress was instrumental in developing and finalizing the National Music Policy which is a blueprint for guiding coordinating and regulating the music industry in Kenya.

In April, Ndambuki was named among top 100 reputable African by Reputational Poll International.
