NAIROBI, Kenya, June 30 – Postbank Kenya has rolled out a month-long financial literacy program to promote saving culture among Kenyan youth.

The program’s inaugural forum was held today at KCA University.

Tailored to equip the youth with vital financial skills & knowledge and raise awareness of the importance of financial wellness, the initiative will place a strong emphasis on the significance of savings for the youth as a strategy to improve national savings in the future and spur economic growth.

Speaking at the inaugural sensitization forum at KCA University, Postbank’s Marketing Manager Benson Wanyoike noted that Postbank is committed to empowering the youth financially through fostering partnerships with institutions of higher learning.

By instilling a culture of financial literacy, we are laying the foundation for a generation that is financially resilient and capable of achieving their goals.”

The program will be scaled to Zetech and USIU universities in the coming weeks and later to regional universities across the country.

“Postbank’s Financial Literacy Program represents the institution’s unwavering commitment to empowering the youth, fostering financial independence, and shaping a generation of financially responsible individuals,” Wanyoike added.
