4. Exercise

Exercise is good for (primarily) two reasons.

One, if you do the right type of exercise it will make you stronger. You need to be strong now so that you retain strength into your later life. You want to be able to stand back up when you trip and fall don’t you?

And two, it makes your body respond positively to the foods you eat. If you sit around all day your body spends a lot of time STORING calories as FAT.

Exercise tells the body to use the calories for other important things like muscle building.

5. Detox in the only way that actually works

Detox diets are as real as unicorns. But eating a toxin-light diet is possible and beneficial. Toxins are stored in fat cells by the body, so eating less toxins equals smaller fat cells.

Try to get off your medications (only after consultation with your doctor!), cut down on alcohol, don’t eat chemical-laden foods and try to avoid overindulging in stimulants like caffeine.

Your hormones and fat cells will thank you.
