African Management Institute MD named most influential person

NAIROBI, Kenya, May 11 – The Managing Director of African Management Institute, Asha Mweru, has been named the Most Influential Person of African Descent (MIPAD) in the Global 100 Under 40 Class of 2023 under the Business and Entrepreneurship category by the MIPAD organization.

Speaking on Thursday during the event, Mweru said that the acknowledgement was due to the hard work and dedication from her team.

“I am deeply honored and humbled to be one of the MIPAD honorees this year, this is a tremendous acknowledgment and a testament to the hard work and dedication of our team at the African Management Institute in advancing the cause of leadership and entrepreneurship in the African continent,” Mweru said.

The award appreciates individuals of African descent who are making significant contributions in their fields and communities around the world.

The Institute’s programs and initiatives have also helped thousands of young leaders and entrepreneurs to build successful businesses and create jobs, while also contributing to the development of their communities and countries.
