NAIROBI, Kenya, Mar 24 – Rubis Energy Kenya has dropped to third place in Kenya’s oil marketing rankings, losing ground to TotalEnergies Marketing Kenya, according to the latest report by the Energy and Petroleum Regulatory Authority (EPRA).
The EPRA Biannual Statistics Report 2025/26 shows TotalEnergies climbed to second position with a market share of 14.01 percent, ahead of Rubis.
TotalEnergies recorded sales of 441,929 cubic metres of petroleum products—including petrol, diesel and jet fuel—compared to Rubis’ 434,600 cubic metres.
In the previous 2024/25 period, Rubis ranked second while TotalEnergies was third.
The report also indicates that Be Energy dropped to seventh position from fifth.
Meanwhile, Vivo Energy Kenya retained the top spot with a 20.56 percent market share, although slightly down from 21.34 percent recorded in 2024/25.
