NAIROBI, Kenya, Nov 19 – TVS Motor Company (TVSM) and its distribution partner Car & General have opened a new showroom on Lusaka Road, Nairobi, expanding the company’s retail footprint a day after launching the TVS Apache RTR 180 motorcycle in the Kenyan market.
The new outlet will serve as both an experience and sales centre for the company’s two-wheeler portfolio, which includes commuter and performance models.
The showroom inauguration follows the debut of the TVS Apache RTR 180, a premium performance motorcycle powered by a 177.4cc engine and developed from the manufacturer’s racing programme.
During the launch, TVS Motor Company President for International Business, Peyman Kargar, said Kenya remains central to the firm’s growth strategy in Africa, citing the country’s position as a regional commercial hub and the rising demand for performance-oriented motorcycles.
He added that the company aims to deepen its presence across the continent through its partnership with Car & General.
TVS Motor products are sold in more than 90 countries across Asia, Latin America and Africa, with the Apache series also expanding into select European markets, including Italy.
