Kenya Power token system suffers a hitch

NAIROBI, Kenya, OCT 19 – Kenya Power customers will be unable to purchase tokens through its token system as it is facing a hitch.

The utility firm said that the failure of its pre-paid payment platform has affected the generation of electricity tokens.

However, it said that it was working to restore the system.

“We are experiencing a hitch on the pre-paid system which is affecting the generation of electricity tokens,” KPLC said in a statement.

“We are working to restore normalcy within the shortest time possible,” it added.

“We apologize for the inconvenience caused.”
