Tatu City floats sweet Valentine deal for its Kijani Ridge plots

Located 24km from Nairobi’s central business district, Tatu City is a mixed-use development encompassing residential, commercial and light industrial precincts.

NAIROBI, Kenya, Feb 13 – Tatu City has offered a discount of Sh500,000 and above for customers that make a down payment on a Kijani Ridge plot within the month of February.

The developer has also announced that the Valentine season package also includes a one-time limited offer that allows customers to negotiate the best deal.

Beatrice Njeri, Head of Residential Sales at Tatu, said Kijani Ridge is 80 percent is sold. The Kijani Ridge residential zone sits on some 250 acres of land subdivided into 475 plots out of which 415 have been bought.

“We will be having an open day on February 23rd where we are inviting the public to see what we have to offer at Kijani Ridge,” said Njeri.

She confirmed a contractor is already on the ground working on the supporting infrastructure.

“Customers will interact with the architects who are ready to take them through the various house designs during the open day. Banks will also be represented, and they will be available to offer financial support,” added Njeri.

She pointed out that the competitive advantage that Tatu offers is the meticulous planning aimed at maintaining high standards and ensuring good value for money.

Kijani Ridge planned housing estate will allow homeowners to select from a set of designs but with restrictions.

For instance, the housing development will not allow apartments or four-story residential homes.

A development control committee will oversee that the guidelines – which include the height of a house, landscaping and community amenities – are adhered to.

Tatu City, which terms Kijani Ridge as ‘a unique live, work and play environment’ said the development is free from traffic congestion and long-distance commuting.

Some of the schools that have taken up space at Tatu City include Nova Pioneer, primary and high school and Crawford International.

“When you are building your home, you are always concerned where your children will go to school. We have sorted that problem by having two schools already running and within walking distance from Kijani Ridge,” said Njeri.
