Standoff over pre-marked ballots in Mombasa

, MOMBASA, Kenya, Aug 8 – There have been claims from both the Jubilee and NASA sides over pre-marking of ballot papers in favor of certain candidates.

Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho says there was a problem with printing of gubernatorial and presidential papers which saw some ink on the papers.

The Jubilee Mombasa County coordinator Beatrice Gambo, said she was concerned over the allegations and the fact that the counting has not started, one and a half hours after closing of the polling station.
