What about testing drivers before they embark on a route to ensure they are not drunk. I think we may also start some kind of penalties to the owners who should be resposible in taming their drivers, training them and also ensuring they are not pushing them to meet certain time limit on a route.

Overtaking a file of vehicles especially at night is simply suicidal. Introduce a demerit system for all drivers. Charge
reckless drivers as criminals. Intruduce a time logging system for buses as they did in Tanzania some years ago. Let the owners meet this costs. Satellite monitoring systems are now common for fuel carriers in Kenya to manage theft; employ this system in buses. Put speed bumps at notorious coners and blackspots. Or simply shoot crazy drivers if nothng else can be done!

True….If some crazy driver is determined to end his life, why should he be allowed to go with other passengers? The poor passengers have nothing to do with it!!!
I really like the logging system for buses, driving at night for commercial vehicles should also be banned…Drastic measures must be taken to save lives!
