NAIROBI, Kenya, Dec 22 – Canadian technology firm Predictiv AI Inc. has joined the public markets, betting that investors and enterprises are shifting away from experimental artificial intelligence projects toward systems that deliver measurable operational returns.
The company began trading on the Canadian Securities Exchange (CSE) this week under the ticker PAI, after receiving final approval to list its common shares.
The move comes amid growing investor interest in so-called vertical AI software designed for specific industries, workflows and regulatory settings rather than broad, general-purpose AI tools.
The global AI market is projected to exceed US$300 billion by the end of the decade, with enterprise applications in logistics, aviation and communications expected to drive much of that growth as organisations seek productivity gains they can audit and scale.
Predictiv AI is positioning itself around a core challenge facing enterprise adoption: many AI initiatives stall at pilot or proof-of-concept stage and never reach full deployment.
“Across many industries, AI initiatives struggle to transition from testing to deployment,” the company noted.
“Vertical AI applications are adopted more readily because they are designed around defined workflows, regulatory considerations, and real operational constraints.”
The company’s main product, Shift AI, is a fleet operations platform aimed at regulated and asset-intensive environments.
The system focuses on real-time asset monitoring, maintenance and inspection tracking, compliance documentation and centralised oversight of geographically dispersed fleets.
Aviation has emerged as a key target market, where strict maintenance cycles and safety reporting requirements raise the cost of operational failure.
Predictiv AI has also developed CloudRep.ai, an AI-driven communications platform that deploys automated agents across voice, chat and SMS to handle routine, structured interactions, with more complex issues escalated to human staff.
Commenting on the listing, Predictiv AI chief executive Suman Pushparajah said:
“Predictiv AI is a Canadian artificial intelligence company focused on vertical AI and practical execution. We are developing products that support smarter fleet operations and communications through AI agents, with an emphasis on defined use cases rather than experimentation. Commencing trading on the CSE is an important milestone for our company.”
