NCBA Bank eyes neighboring towns of Tanzania, Uganda with a new branch in Migori

NAIROBI, Kenya,Sep 18 – NCBA has expanded to the border county of Migori as it eyes traders in the county as well as neighboring Uganda and Tanzania.

The outlet, which will offer investment solutions for wholesalers and asset finance solutions for retailers, will be located at Val Plaza in Migori Town.

This comes at a time when the lender has been expanding its services across the country.

“Migori Town is a commercial centre and serves as a market corridor to neighbouring communities in Uganda and Tanzania. This makes it the epicentre for vibrant business undertakings and opportunities,” said NCBA Group Director Retail Banking Tirus Mwithiga.

“By opening a branch here, we have provided the residents with access to financial services customized to meet their individual needs,” Mwithiga added.

In July this year, the bank announced plans to open 10 more branches in the country before the end of this year as the lender seeks to expand its presence nationwide.

Its expansion seeks to enhance its retail business and financial services convenience for customers.

In June, the institution also opened a new branch in Chwele, Bungoma County.

It became the second to be opened in the devolved unit.
