Kenya: From Abu Mburu’s Lens

There are many types of travellers in this world. The foodies, the culture venture, the coastal junkies, and then there’s the nature lovers. Waterfalls are a source of endless fascination and prove time and time again to be one of the earth’s most captivating natural wonders.

Kenya is home to many breathe-taking waterfalls in the mountain-ranges and even in the city. The hunt for the perfect waterfall can prove to be quite a trek especially in the country side but this is not the case with Fourteen Falls in Thika.

As the name suggests, the falls constitute of 14 consecutive falls and the site has activities including boating, fishing and bird watching. Being an hour away from the city, take a drive to Thika and enjoy the spectacular feeling of fresh falling mist on the face and gaze at pure majesty particularly during the rainy season.
