NAIROBI, Kenya, May 24 – Jubilee Life Insurance has appointed Asman Mugambi Ibrahim as its new CEO.
Its Board of Directors Chairman, Nizar Juma, exuded confidence in Mugambi’s leadership prowess and his ability to steer the insurer’s growth.
“Asman is a self-motivated, results-driven leader with over 20 years of extensive industry experience. With a proven track record, Asman brings with him a wealth of experience from his previous roles,” said Nizar in a statement.
Before joining Jubilee Life Insurance, Asman served as the General Manager of Commercial and Operations at ICEA LION Life.
His previous roles include General Manager of Operations at Liberty Life, Head of Operations and Customer Servicing at UAP Hold Mutual Group, and Head of Actuarial at various esteemed organizations, including Old Mutual South Africa.
He boasts a Master of Sciences in Actuarial Management from Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh, UK.
Additionally, he obtained a Bachelor of Science with First-Class Honors in Actuarial Science from the University of Nairobi.
He takes over from long-serving Javed Ahmed, who has been at the helm of the organization since 2002.
