Customers set to earn and redeem airline and hotel rewards in Kenya Airways–Accor deal

NAIROBI, Kenya, May 14 – Customers are set to earn and redeem loyalty points across flights, hotel stays and travel experiences in  a partnership between Kenya Airways and Accor aimed at integrating airline and hospitality rewards systems.

The agreement links Kenya Airways’ Asante Rewards programme with ALL Accor, Accor’s global booking and loyalty platform, allowing members to convert points between the two programmes.

Under the conversion structure, 3,000 Asante Rewards points can be exchanged for 1,000 ALL Accor Reward points, while 3,000 ALL Accor points can also be converted into 1,000 Asante Rewards points.

The partnership allows Kenya Airways customers to access Accor’s network of more than 5,800 hotels across over 110 countries, including brands such as ibis, Novotel, Pullman, Sofitel, Fairmont and Raffles.

Accor members, in turn, will be able to redeem points for Kenya Airways flights, lounge access and additional baggage allowances.

Kenya Airways said the deal makes it the first African airline to join the Accor loyalty ecosystem, as carriers and hotel groups seek to deepen customer engagement through integrated rewards programmes.

“Our partnership with Kenya Airways marks a pivotal moment, responding to the demand for connected, experience-driven travel across Africa and the Middle East where loyalty is key,” said Kerry Healy, Chief Commercial Officer for Accor’s Premium, Midscale & Economy brands in the Middle East, Africa and Asia Pacific.

“This collaboration represents a significant milestone not only for Kenya Airways, but for African aviation,” said Julius Thairu, Kenya Airways Chief Commercial and Customer Officer.

“As the first airline on the continent to partner with ALL Accor, we are proud to give our loyal customers even more ways to earn, convert, and redeem their rewards across a world of travel and hospitality experiences.”
