NAIROBI, Kenya, Feb 21 – Kenya’s alpine skiing pioneer Sabrina Wanjiku Simader has been unveiled as the newest brand partner for smartphone manufacturer Infinix, in a move aligned with the company’s push to position itself around themes of innovation and resilience.
The announcement coincides with the 2026 Winter Olympics in Milano Cortina, where Simader returns to the global stage as a spectator, having previously made history as Kenya’s first female Winter Olympian.
Under Infinix’s “Beyond Snow, All-Round Legends” campaign, Simader will collaborate with the brand to highlight stories of perseverance, reinvention and growth—values the company says resonate with young audiences across Africa.
During the Milano Cortina Games, Simader is documenting her Olympic return using Infinix devices, capturing moments from the slopes she once competed on, interactions with fellow athletes, and reflections on her journey.
“I’m returning to the Olympics not as a racer, but as someone who has lived the journey. It’s about showing that dreams don’t end, they evolve. And that ambition belongs to everyone, no matter where you come from,” she said.
The partnership comes ahead of the Kenyan launch of the company’s upcoming flagship smartphone, the Infinix NOTE 60 Pro, as the brand intensifies its engagement with the youth market.
