Farmer’s Choice launches live cookout series

NAIROBI, Kenya, Nov 12 – NAIROBI, Kenya, Nov 12 — Farmer’s Choice Limited, East Africa’s leading producer of fresh cuts and value-added meat products, has launched the Farmer’s Choice Cookout Series dubbed “Moments Made to Last.”

The experiential event marks nearly five decades of the company’s commitment to delivering quality and affordable nutrition while promoting sustainability and innovation.

The Cookout Series celebrates Kenya’s vibrant food culture through live culinary experiences that bring families and communities together to enjoy wholesome meals made with Farmer’s Choice products. The activations, held in supermarkets and neighbourhoods nationwide, feature cooking tips, tasting sessions, and festive meal ideas.

Speaking during the launch, Farmer’s Choice CEO Felisters Gitau Mutugu said the initiative highlights the company’s mission to make nutritious animal protein accessible to all Kenyans.

“For nearly five decades, we have remained committed to ensuring affordable animal protein is available to every Kenyan household through our range of fresh and value-added meat products,” said Mutugu. “Our approach goes beyond great taste; it’s about nourishing families responsibly and sustainably.”

Farmer’s Choice continues to prioritize local sourcing and sustainability through partnerships with farmers, offering training, extension services, and access to improved pig genetics and feeds. The initiative supports livelihoods and strengthens the country’s food ecosystem.

The company’s collaboration with stockists and distributors across all 47 counties ensures its products reach supermarkets, hotels, and vendors nationwide.
