Apartment hotel chain Trianum plans regional growth

NAIROBI, Kenya, Aug 15 — Apartment hotel chain Trianum Hospitality is eyeing expansion into East Africa as it celebrates 15 years in operation.

The company, which manages serviced apartments, boutique hotels, and shared ownership properties, said it will use global brand partnerships to strengthen market reach and increase the value of its portfolio.

Trianum operates properties in Machakos, Kilifi, Nyeri, and Nanyuki, as well as several in Nairobi, including Executive Residences by Best Western, Westside Drive, Uwazi Place, Cozy Residences, Feather Residences, Harry Heights, LC Ridge, and Lavington Residency. Two are under the Best Western brand.

Chief Executive Liza Uku said growth plans will be supported by investment in staff and operational systems. The company is also pursuing partnerships in Rwanda, Uganda, Tanzania, Zanzibar, and other regional markets.

Trianum’s planned entry into Rwanda was delayed from 2020 to 2024, when it registered Trianum Century Rwanda Limited.
