Betway parent company Bluejay Ltd files for liquidation

NAIROBI, Kenya, April 24 – Bluejay Limited has filed a petition for liquidation at the Milimani Law Courts Commercial and Tax Division.

The company, registered under number CPR/2015/206545, filed the petition on September 30, 2024, citing provisions under the Insolvency Act, 2015.

The matter is scheduled to be mentioned before the High Court on May 5, 2025.

Creditors and contributors interested in supporting or contesting the petition may attend the hearing in person or be represented by an advocate.

Persons or firms intending to appear at the hearing are required to submit a written notice to the petitioner’s advocates no later than 4p.m. on May 4, 2025.

No official reason for the liquidation has been disclosed in the petition.
