Naivas Supermarket opens 110th store at Tatu City

NAIROBI, Kenya, Feb 24 – Naivas Supermarket has expanded its footprint with the opening of its 110th outlet at Tatu City, Kenya’s mixed-use Special Economic Zone (SEZ).

The new store, located in Eneo at Tatu Central, offers a wide range of products, including fresh produce, household essentials, and ready-to-go meals from the Naivas deli.

Speaking during the launch, Andreas Von Paleske, Chief of Strategy at Naivas, highlighted the company’s commitment to enhancing the shopping experience for Tatu City residents and surrounding communities.

He noted that the new branch aligns with Naivas’ goal of meeting evolving customer needs by offering an extensive product range and personalized service.

Tatu City’s Head of City Management, Linda Nyaseda, welcomed Naivas, emphasizing the convenience it brings to the growing urban hub.

She reiterated that the supermarket’s presence supports Tatu City’s vision of a fully integrated and sustainable community where residents can live, work, and shop with ease.

Eneo at Tatu Central, developed by Gateway Real Estate Africa, is home to several businesses, including CCI Global’s 5,000-seat call centre, Tamambo restaurant, CleanFax dry cleaners, Optum Health Pharmacy, and multiple banks. Other tenants include Safaricom Shop, Grand Reserve liquor store, and ViAfrika homeware.

Tatu City, which currently accommodates over 25,000 residents, workers, and students, continues to attract leading local and international businesses.

More than 90 companies, including Heineken, Dormans, Kärcher, Cooper K-Brands, and Davis & Shirtliff, have set up operations within the city, reinforcing its status as a thriving business and residential hub.
