Butt Chugging, Vodka Tampons fuels drugs and sex

Both alcohol-consumption methods aim at enhancing absorption of alcohol by being directly absorbed into the blood stream, which puts the drinker at a much higher risk to alcohol poisoning.

Without any stomach acid to prevent rapid absorption of alcohol, consuming alcohol rectally or vaginally is dangerous and possibly could lead to chronic and permanent damage to the human body.

When one ingests too much alcohol, the body gags and vomits – preventing the body from absorbing too much alcohol.  With these new methods, it bypasses the body’s vomiting reflex.  Alcohol poisoning can come without any warning.

On a 2008 episode of The Doctors, medical professional warned that inserting a Vodka-soaked tampon may completely destroy the vagina, and even the rectal muscles.

In September 2012 a University of Tennessee student who was allegedly Butt Chugging was hospitalized for severe alcohol poisoning. Aside from dangerous health consequences, university administrative staff warns that such methods can lead to other harmful behaviours such as drug abuse and promiscuity.

Seen as a discreet way to get drunk without the hassles of throwing up, having alcohol breath or spending exuberant amounts of money on booze, it seems that Vodka-soaked Tampons and Butt Chugging is only getting more popular, especially with numerous online parodies depicting the practice as humourous and fun.
